Our customers have been searching for a better way to separate CAT5e and CAT6 pairs for years. Many installers drag a small screwdriver through the pairs, some spin the cable’s outer jacket through the pairs, and some just untwist the pairs by hand. All three of these methods require continuous use of your fingertips, and on larger installs, can leave your fingertips sore for days. The Untwist tool is simple to use, fast, and eliminates that pain in your fingers! UNTWIST OPERATION: The operation of the tool is simple! Press the untwist button on the driver and the tool’s head starts spinning. Slowly feed the pair into the tool’s head and release the button when the pair is untwisted. STRAIGHTENING OPERATION: Once the pairs are untwisted there are two ways to straighten them. One, you can press the wire against the mouth of the tool head before removing the untwisted pairs. Two, you can use the straightening grooves on the side of the tool head. BATTERY LIFE: The Untwist Tool V2’s driver untwists approximately 2400 pairs before the driver needs to be recharged. RECHARGING: The battery only takes 45 minutes for a full recharge and can also be used while charging!
